Our mission is to make SAP security affordable, transparent, private, and efficient.
My name is Dmitry Gutsko, and I’m an SAP Cybersecurity expert with more than 15 years of hands-on experience (Linkedin profile). Over my career, I’ve completed dozens of SAP security assessments and audits across many industries — from classical ABAP landscapes to modern cloud-based platforms.
After years of repeating the same manual checks and gathering the same data over and over, I decided to build the tool I always wished I had: something lightweight, transparent, fast, and easy to use. That was the beginning of the Offline Security Project.
I launched Offline Security in July 2023. Back then, it started with just a single feature — an analysis of missing SAP Security Notes. Today, the project has grown into a full toolset with five independent modules for vulnerability management, configuration validation, automated data collection, alerting, and customizable rule sets.
My goal was simple: Create an easy, lightweight tool that generates comprehensive reports without forcing companies to install heavy ABAP add-ons or complex server components. Honestly, I still don’t understand why so many vendors insist on ABAP-based tools that are difficult to maintain, update, or uninstall.
Most SAP security teams don’t spend their day in a UI. Many only open their tools monthly — usually just to check new SAP Security Notes or run periodic reports. So I built Offline Security as a command-line toolset: fast, scriptable, and easy to integrate with SIEM, ITSM, and dashboards. No UI needed — just efficient, automated results.
